All Stove Up

I am all stove up! I worked hard at the Quilters Dream Batting Booth all weekend at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival! I helped Quilters Dream Batting super employee Jennifer Griffin. We worked hard and had a blast. Quilters Dream Batting provided door prizes and batting for the teachers at the festival. Quilters Dream Batting is a wholesale batting company, so we were not selling batting, but we did have a wall of batting and invited everyone to come in and fondle our product.

The Purpose of our booth was to sell Quilts that had been entered into the Hopes & Dreams Challenge. These quilts come from all over the US. This year’s challenge doesn’t end till July, so it is not too late to enter for great prizes. Go to http://quiltersdreambatting.com for complete information. I don’t have the final amount, but I think we raised close to $8000 of which 100% goes to ALS Research!! Woo Hoo!

Jackie, Jackie, Jackie! I could not have had my “stove up” weekend without YOU! Whew…we did ‘work it’ and what a fun time we had! While I enjoyed doing everything I could to bring awareness to the Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS and also Quilters Dream Batting, I think I was just as excited to have “The Quilt Ninja” there representing! How fun so many people came up wanting to take photos of your winning apron and have you do the “Quilt Ninja!” so they could take photos. What a great time I had and you and Karin and Erin made it such joy! Thank you, thank you – thank you! Jennifer
