Welcome to the Quilt Qwazy Queens “Making Us Laugh Blog Hop”! I don’t know if I will make you laugh, but I hope I make you smile!
Some of my Fiesta collection.
I bought this fabric by Alexander Henry in 3 colorways. It is called California, based on Fiesta dishware by Homer Laughlin.
OBW #59 Fiesta 1
Valance from Fiesta fabric
My contribution was to design a One Block Wonder around one repeat of fabric, and then speed it up! I’ve had this fabric for 5 years. Watch me design a OBW in 13 minutes.
You made my day! You might have taken 13 minutes to design the quilt, but I’m sure it took lots of time to sew all those hexagons. I liked your doors padded as a design wall. I never thought of that. And your blouse was so cute. I made a baby toy top my senior year of high school because I was going into elementary education. I loved wearing it.
Thank you so much Nancy. That was 4 separate videos joined and sped up. I wanted it to be faster but that was all I could do. I make all my shirts. Usually out of interesting quilt fabric! Thanks for stopping by!
Your video was really fun and I loved seeing you design the OBW. That’s a quilt on my bucket list – I’ve had my fabric for only about 2 years!!! lol You’ve inspired me with your Qwasy quilt!
Oh my goodness, I’m smiling from ear to ear. I love the bright colors and watching you put it together in 13 “fast forward” minutes was fun. I kept scrolling down as you went to see if the placement stayed the same in the end! LOL!! By the way…LOVE your shirt! Thanks for being a part of us Quilt Qwazy Queens!
