When I saw Lumiere by Timeless Treasures, it was love at first sight. Thank you Timeless Treasures for providing me with these beautiful fabrics.

I cut my strips 3.25″ to yield 5″ finished hexies using my First Choice rulers by Studio 180 Design..

From the same 3.25″ strips I made 10″ kaleidoscope Star 60 units using Deb Tucker’s Star 60 Tool.

I wanted the fairy to be gazing up at the moon and the stars, so I made 5″ and 10″ Framed 60 ‘s from the beautiful coordinating fabrics using my Star 60 Tool and the Framed 60 Technique Sheet.

It takes a couple of days designing.

I attached the top section first, then the bottom and the sides. Now to Blur the edges and add borders.

Lumiere measures 64″ x 71″ unquilted. While making Lumiere I ket thinking of the song from Pinnochio:
When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you!
