She Who Sews – OBW #93 | If These Threads Could Talk

I fell in love with this panel by Riley Blake.

I made my “She Who Sews” OBW using Studio 180 Design’s Star 60 tool to cut the triangles and make the cubes and stars.

love this! you did an amazing job designing it!! am attempting to make it and was wondering what size your tumbling blocks are? and lite blue stars? my local studio 180 instructor sold me the ruler and taught me how to make the blocks but I’m wondering what size they are to get this look?

In She Who Sews, the brown cubes are 12” and 6”, the blue cubes are 6” and 3”. The star 60 stars are 3”. The 3” star 60’s and the 3” blue cubes are appliqued on the seams around the panel to soften the seams. The rest of the cubes are pieced. If you email me i will send you something. however on searching the net i have come across your design. and what a brilliant design it is.
Is there any way that I can purchase the pattern from you. I am familiar with one block wonder design

Hi Janine. There is no pattern, it is just the way I chose to place the hexagons. The cubes were made with the Star 60 ruler by Studio 180 Design.

I teach 2 One Block Wonder Classes, the 1st is cutting the equilateral triangles and the 2nd is designing with the triangles. There is a supply list you can download.
